Looked at the lake talked to this guy.
He seems to come around me when I'm outside. Was a the door when I was going for walk. He come up in the grass when I was talking to the only neighbour here.

I Don know how long they live but there was one around last August when I was painting outside. Kept appearing where I was working.

Walked the dog, went to mass, cleaned up the front garden after Mrs P went hacking with her shears, went for a blast across the mountains on the little Triumph. There’s something quite satisfying about nailing the throttle on a little bike rather than riding an ICBM at 40%. It was bloody hot in places but white leathers and helmet do help.
White leathers?

Yesterday really, Long day out as son's birthday. We went to Twickenham, did the stadium tour & museum and bought out the shop (at least that's what it felt like :)

Then visited my parents down sarf (he'd not seen them for almost two years.

Easy trip for me as he did all the driving and I did the navigation.

Oxford services on the way back very busy around 23:00 but approaching 50% appeared not to be bothering with masks.

Work weekly conference call/catch up.

Interestingly we're being told "we will" be part of the new scheme to avoid self isolation.

It means we will be able to continue working where normally we would have to self isolate.

But, other than travelling to work and doing our shift we will have to self isolate.

Discussion has already become heated with some saying they're not willing to self test as there's no advantage to them, only to the business.

Already two of my team (of five) are self isolating. One because his wife has it (only symptom is coughing) and his daughter has tested positive (no symptoms). The other has just come back from a family holiday in the sun and his sister has tested positive on return (no symptoms). Both team members continue to test negative.
Anyone else in the team has to isolate and we can't cover the workload.

Took the two grandkids to Bocketts Farm.. 2.5 year old was an angel, eighteen month old did nothing but grizzle all day:bash:

Too hot, too crowded. Sandwich selection was poor, blueberry cake was good.

The llamas were awesome, definitely getting one.

Read Grandkids School reports, both doing really well, Grace needs more confidence.
Joe holds the School record for most books read in a year, 123 o_O the School is about three hundred years old.

Amazing.

One of my grandchildren are an ice cream all on their own today. Doesn’t even compare.
