There will be a lot being ceramic and powder coated on the bike, tis what I do ;)
Is ceramic coating manifolds as beneficial as legend would have it?
I was certainly might impressed with heat retention -that I believe is a very good thing - when I saw it demonstrated on a tv programme On a big American V8

Also I was thinking 4-1 as the cbr1200xx anniversary was as I may have a spare akrapovic end can from my RSV1000. Any thoughts or opinions on the 4-1?
I had an Akra 4-2-1 on by first 'Bird back in '97. She was quick anyway but after the exhaust conversion, she pulled like a train and her capability to keep on pulling was way in excess of my bottle.

It certainly is. I've tested it on turbos, manifolds and cylinder heads. Heat retention anything between 10-30% dependant on various factors. I've personally used it on my hot running aprilia V twin down pipes and temp gauge used to sit around 85. It now sits around 78. It's Very popular on brake calipers too.

That's sold it to me then. I'll get on it.

I keep forgetting that Beaker is in mourning for the love of his life, ever since he gave up biking.

Must be terrible for him to keep hearing these references to motorcycles as "she". Like being reminded of your first love..... :crybaby2:

As I never made love to any motorised bicycle I owned they are firmly ‘It’.

If you call yours ‘she’ there is only one inevitable conclusion to be drawn.
