Coffee

I dumped my coffee pod machine over a year ago & bought a proper coffee machine, a De'Longhi ECC221 that does latte, americano cortado, espresso & probably a few others I haven't tried yet. all from freshly ground coffee (although I did also buy a decent burr coffee grinder too).

I also have a cafetière for first thing in the morning. I'm now considering buying a bean to cup machine.

All my coffee now comes from coffeebeanshop.co.uk

Much like you, I decided that as the pods weren't recyclable or cheap, I'd do the environment & my wallet a favour.

I’d invest in a machine but I don’t take milk so I think it would not get the full use

I can’t drink coffee, and anything containing it, as it makes me ill. So, I stick with tea, gallons of it.

Yep! Second that Simon coffee is nothing more than the devil’s lactate, terrible stuff, tea on the other hand is the brew of the gods (y).

Much as I love the simplicity of my Dolce Gusto I have grown a social conscience & decided not to use it again due to the pods not being recylable, on the plus side I am back to using my cafetière, many great coffees to try.
good on you Derek......I have just changed my toothpaste habits for the same reason, haven’t tried these out yet though....

Love to Simon, when the situation calms down I’ll pop down and give miss Molly a wurdle, are the bike nights going to start up down there ? we’ve got a date in Barny for the 21st of June.

I really don’t know, I don’t see why Teignmouth won’t as it was every Tuesday all last summer during lockdown.

if I’m still in UK I’ll make a note on the calendar and come up north.

Had a full set for years until I hit my late thirties it was getting all pepper and salt, looked proper scruffy, so shaved it all off but kept the moustache and long sideboards, the missus reckoned if I shaved it all off I’d look too cherubic.:eusa_whistle:
