Roll on March so I can the old girl out, not ridden it yet but got a few jobs to do on it. CCT needs doing, engine casing reqs powder coating, n/s silencer needs re aligning ( I’m quite anal about the aesthetics ) then new tyres . Need to fit some easy access waterproof connectors for the rear indicators for when I fit the wing rack & boxes to make it a 10 min swap over.

My current insurance company won’t cover it so changing in March plus nowhere to keep it until my garage is built so it’s tucked away in storage

I dont see the point but have done it a few times for other people & used seam sealer each time, that seems to work well just dont get it anywhere you may see it as you have little chance of getting it off & let it cure properly before messing with the panel

Does the mesh not foul the grab rail on the rear cowl, makes it awkward to put on main stand?

It was already there, wouldn’t have done it myself but hey. No idea what’s holding it in, maybe one day I’ll take them out and hopefully not cause any damage

Don't have the grab rail as the sw motech system mounts on the fixings. Never had an issue rolling it on to the centre stand. Just saying loike.

No not that one...in the crook of the upper and lower seat frame rails.
That's what i use to sling it over on the stand. My knackered shoulder won't let me use the rear grab rail.

That's what that one is there for I believe, anyone using the grabrail is making it harder for themselves & is probably related to an orangutan anyway :eusa_whistle:
