There is a trader near us & he was selling the Yankee candle advent calendars for £10, I said to Bev that she should have bought a couple, she ignored me.
There is more than one type - I think the most expensive one is about £70 - and they change every year. Loads of previous years stuff on eBay.

We have had them for a few years now and they have become a Christmas staple for us.

A good alternative to fattening chocolates!

As I recall these should have been £39.99

Chocolate isn't fattening! consuming more calories than you burn is fattening.*

A few weeks ago I bought 100 Merkel razor blades.

Today I will hopefully be buying them in the correct size.

This has to be worth a separate thread.

I said this earlier on. It definately needs its own thread so I can watch the progress with envious eyes. (y)

Thankyou Andy and Dan

I was in two minds as this is a ‘Bird forum !!!

It’s a ‘tribute’ to the Cobra .... so not technically a Cobra (but very close)
Based on the running gear of a BMW Z3 ... yes really!
Google ‘BMW Z3 Cobra’ or ‘Tribute Kobra’
the front ‘spoiler’ is part of the fibreglass moulding which ‘hides’ part of the Z3 suspension ..... it can be removed, but I kind of like it (70-80s bolt on spoiler style)
It’s also MUCH cheaper than any other Cobra kit !!!

Advantages are .... no IVA inspection, you can have A/C, heated and electric seats, reliable heating, a fully waterproof convertible roof, reliable engine everything works as per the Z3, doesn’t overheat like some replicas etc etc
Downsides .... it doesn’t look ‘exactly’ like a Cobra, and it won’t have the V8 rumble

Mine is the 3 litre Z3, the kit saves about 100kg from the cars weight ... so should be a tad quicker too

If you really want a separate build thread .....
