Did a bit of fettling on the bike, grocery shop for week, was going down the pub but it was pissing down and blowing a hoolie, bloody depressing, hence Miss Rum and her sister lil Shrub has made an appearance, they know how to make a guy feel better, ooooh yeeees .

Washed the Panzer GS A (in the rain ).
Gave the gym a miss and trained circuits with my clubs instead.
Sat idly around and offered moral support while Mrs P applied a bit of filler in places on the stairs before she washed them with white spirit and applied a couple of mahogany stain and white primer.

Had a brilliant time while the grandkids were having their dinner
M&S food shop this morning, removed the drag link from the Trophy this afternoon ready for replacment after one of the clamps broke off, ordered a new drag link & needle bearings this evening & now about to put the oven on...

Made an emergency curry as the ham joint we bought to do a full roast dinner with for our guests was pretty peer despite the exhorbitant price it cost.

Got my very old Videotone mini speakers connected again.
Great sound. Been in a box for about 15 years.
I remember when I got them first, I heard sounds on a record that I never heard before. Them and a NAD amp. It was a new music world in 1979.
I'm using then on a Panasonic mini hi fi.
The unit is about 150 w 200 d 230 h and weighs nothing. It was marked down and I got €20 off that as it was a display model.
I remembered I had the old speakers and used them instead of supplied.
The main shop in town was pretty well sold out as they were. Side effects of virus.
What I meant to say about it was it's so small so light I'm amazed at the sound. Fighting the urge to open it up to see what's inside! Tuner cd player.
