Interesting Ride tracking app

Do any of you use a ride tracking app?

I've just started using Yamaha MyRide. I've tried a couple of others but I like this one. You can post your ride publicly on the app, minus incriminating evidence if you wish, for others to see and export others rides to a gps to follow.

This is a screenshot of what I see. When its posted to the public part of the app the speed section, greyed out here, isnt shown. :D

I don't use an app but which ever bike I'm on I have the satnav on. No destination set but it always records the route I've done.
So if I ever want to bring it up I just put it onto the pc.

I use RoadID. Designed for cyclists but works for biking. Records the route and also emails/texts up to 3 people if you end up on your arse.

I've just downloaded the Yamaha app, give it a go. I can see my route from the trackers but I'm fascinated by the lean angle; I want to see how far I go. The furthest mine go over is when they're on their side stands, f'ing crap, me

I quite like the lean angle too and the acceleration. The acceleration will definitely get tested!

Is Chester a nice place to visit for a short break?

Always fancied it but never known why.

Chester is a very nice place to visit. Lots of history. You can walk all the way around the city on the Roman walls and by the river, on a sunny day, is simply stunning. In the town centre itself there are The Rows, shops above shops that date back a couple of hundred years. The Eastgate clock, which my great-great-great grandad helped to build. There a cathedral that's well worth a visit too.

It's bit pricey but well worth it.

I'm from Chester but I'm not biased! :D

Can you still shoot the Welsh/Scots with a longbow within the city walls?

I use RoadID so that if I come to grief my missus will know precisely where to put the flowers. ;)

No interest in lean angles or acceleration.

Maybe a bit of longbow practise, at least. :D
Hopefully you can make it as I would love to hear more about the dimensions of your post rammer thing.

Didn't you know that posts about Diy stuff are frowned upon by some on here?

No names...

:p
