Well I could now add checker-plate or even wooden decking?
I want to make it easy to fit and remove. Should only need it to carry my tent and stuff when I do the Dragon.
I also have a top box that I have to work out how to fix.

In seriousness.... The rack mounted to the axle will be unsprung, so anything carried in it will be subjected to lots of bouncing around.

On the plus side, it will be perfect for-
Automatic mixing of cocktails.
Making cake mixture or souffles.
Washing clothes, so long as you have a waterproof box with a tightly fitting lid.

You’re not being any help :argue:
It’s just to carry my tent and stuff, I’m not using it for shopping or my best china :deal:

BMW just don’t make it easy. Considering this is a 1985 bike the electronics are way above most bikes today.
Thanks to the internet I have resolved the problem with the constant warning light.

Having fitted LED lights to the rear of the bike the Bulb Monitoring Unit (BMU) was detecting them as a fault. Removal of the BMU and a bit of additional wiring was required. All lights working and no more warning light.

Now I just have the constant neural light and lack of speedo to sort.

I will sleep well tonight knowing that you have sorted that out.

So I think the Dangerous Trike is ready for inspection/mot. Cannot book it yet as I have not got a response from DVLA.
Now I am going to make my day by looking at insurance :(
