The firm I work for received an order for a few pallets of concrete reinforcing accessories, for delivery to various sections of the project.
We used a delivery company that we often use, who specialise in pallet type deliveries.

Turns out some of the pallets were delivered OK and others were refused. Upon further investigation the ones which were refused were 'delivered' by an early 2015 registered truck (wont allow trucks on site this old).

If its legal to be on the road surely they should allow them on site. No wonder the country is in the shit

A few quid on private registration plates would solve that.

Maybe it would fool them but I doubt it? apparently vehicles must comply with Euro 6 emissions regs. I suspect there must be hundreds of deliveries turned away over the months and years to help save our planet:D

Perhaps you can charge companies who turn you away a carbon footprint penalty.

September 2015 was when EU6 emissions limits came in for trucks, they’re playing the air quality card. As you say, they’re still legal on the road so should be more than satisfactory.

Presumably the country is 'in the shit' as the concrete reinforcing stuff you tried to deliver wasn't used?
