I stuck a good quality golf bag on the local Facebook selling page on Sunday for a giveaway price. Loads of enquiries, first in said he would be round later Sunday to pick it up. No sign of him so it was sold to the second person who arrived within thirty minutes of me contacting him on Monday . First bloke turned up tonight, two days late, and had the arse that I sold it to someone else.
Also stuck a roof rack on for my old BMW......within an hour someone said they wanted it and would come straight round. Which they did, in a BMW 1 Series and asking me to confirm it would fit their car. How the hell am I supposed to know? I said I was happy for them to try it, I was going indoors just knock when you are finished. So I went indoors, looked out the window to see them driving off leaving the roof rack in the middle of the driveway. they obviously couldn't be arsed finding out for themselves but apparently were happy for me to try it for them.
Someone else contacted me this afternoon, I'll be round tonight to collect around 7pm. 5.45 I get a message 'can you send me a photo of the fittings so I can see if it fits my 1 Series'.
The listing has now been amended to say 'don't ask I don't effing know but if you say you are coming to pick it up then please do so you twats.' Or words to that effect.
Makes my blood boil.
On the positive side I had three bags of building sand going free.....unbelievable how many people wanted that and it went within an hour of advertising.
