Watched that twice. Excellent movie about a battle fatigued veteran American tank crew during the last months of the war.Anybody go to see Fury when it was out?
Just watched the film and although I enjoyed it I didn't find the two lead characters particularly convincing.
They came across as being more like a couple of Army cadets, lost in the woods.

Come to think of it... they did look like a couple of Rambos.RAF Regt trained
No idea, mate. We rented it on Amazon Prime and it's also available to rent through the PlayStation Store. Is it on netflix?
Average age of a squaddie in WW1 was around 30 apparently.I haven’t seen it yet, but weren’t the soldiers fighting in the war little more than schoolboys lost in the woods anyway?
Oh, I thought it was a lot less, like ‘Nam n-n-n-n-nineteen.
Beats me why they didn't just get an aircraft to fly over and drop a dispatch. Movie length 5 mins... job done.Wasn't a fan of 1917, the plot just seemed a bit thin made up for by CGI, if you compare it to something like Enemy at the Gates which was 2001 it seems poor.
I don't mean for historical accuracy as I have no idea, I just mean for watching a film that keeps you engaged.
