The best thing about the village when you get there for the first time is “it is The Village” and you almost expect to see the cast. It’s quite surreal.

As of 6pm today we are closed, it seems the government has moved the goal posts on whom can stay open:(
It's all a bit weird.

We booked a man with a van to come and collect a load of garden waste about a week ago - just had a message saying he will collect tomorrow morning. My mind says this is not 'essential' but looking at the government guidance it appears ok as long as social distancing features.

Ditto we are half way through a GreenThumb lawn renovation, they are continuing the programme on the same terms.

Can't quite get my head round it when so many others are cooped up indoors.

He should have a license from your local council to remove & carry waste.
All legal requirements to stop dumping....So..should be classed as essential work.

Been to Portmerion a few times.
Once when they had The Prisoner society/enthusiasts there, all dressed up in the gear with the mini joke and playing people cheese.
Mad as hatters but entertaining.

All the tips round here are closed and the garden bin collection is cancelled too. So no weeding or lawn mowing for me.
