Funny you should say that. Collagen protein is very stable so you can add it to anything, which I very often do. I buy the unflavoured variety so it doesn’t alter the flavour of whatever I chuck it in. Some people I know even stick it in their coffee. As well as helping me keep on top of my required daily intake of protein, the collagen variety is extremely good for the joints (as well as teeth, nails and hair but you don’t have any of those).

Assuming you use them in tea and coffee...Try going without for a week , I guarantee that when you go back to them you will ditch them straight away. I took sugar in hot drinks for my whole life until I was about forty, did exactly what I am suggesting.... couldn't even drink a tea or coffee with sugar in now.

But. To answer your question - without sweetener you can actually taste tea/coffee, which is a good thing, and it avoids putting unnecessary crap into your body.
