If you like your pizzas really tasty with a nice spicy kick then do not be tempted by Gino Di Campo’s super spicy pizza, most blatant breech of the trades description’s act.

We have given up trying to find decent pizzas in shops.......they all seemed to become either extremely sweet or,extremely salty. Can't remember the brand but we used to love a 'spicy pulled pork' pizza, but overnight it changed to being sickeningly sweet. Thought we may have had a rogue one but sadly the next one was the same.

The rare times we go for a shop bought pizza it is from the 'build your own' section in the supermarket deli, they are pretty decent. We have tried making our own from scratch ( not 'scratchings':brush:) but it has never gone that well.

For those that still buy them, if you haven't invested in a pizza stone you should try one...stick it in the oven and get it really hot before putting the pizza on it to cook......the end of soggy bottoms forever.

Anything with Michael McIntyre and comedy in the same heading is a much bigger breach.

I just put it on the oven shelf/grid.
I have tinfoil on bottom shelf to catch the drips.

You can get washable liners to put on the oven floor these days....like,a sort of metallise cloth. Work really well.

Nothing wrong with putting the pizza on the oven rack if it hasn't got one of those stupid disposable bases, but a pizza stone is the way thata mamma useda to a do ita.

The only comment I can make reference pizza is that, pineapple should not be any where near one :couch:

On the flip, side, fresh pineapple ismthe food of gods.

I invested a couple of quid in a cheap pineapple corer on eBay - magnificent contraption. A very able replacement for my Blackbird.

A fresh pineapple costs about 70p, a small pot of 'fresh' preprepared pineapple costs about £1.20 plus.

And tinned pineapple is sickeningly sweet.

An added benefit is you get a disposable container for your freshly squeezed fruit if you blitz it. I was going to call it a beaker but decided a container was best (y)
