While you were away, there was a coup and Beaker is now in charge.... so there's only a few approved subjects allowed on here.
Mostly they revolve around the following.....

1) Cars (preferably re-cycled panzers)
2) DIY (or more precisely, "The Adventures of Beaker")
3) Golf (no really...it's where all retired bankers go to die)
4) How to cope with old age

Even George Orwell didn't think it would be this bad.

I must admit, now that I’ll be living back home in South Wales, there’s lovely, by the time spring arrives (I hope!), I’m looking forward to the summer more than ever this year. I cannot wait to go playing across the Beacons again.

I might even do one of those advanced courses again, really enjoyed the last one I did about 20 years ago.

that nobody’s interested in – so the reason for the original post is forgotten
(that’s how folk lose interest other things like facebook, politics and fookin’

Well, I had a loverly ride around the Peak District last Sunday. Loverly sos butty and coffee at Edensor tea room- part of the Chatsworth Estate.
I have also bin having fun explorating greenlanes and unsurfaced roads in the PD on an old XR250 and amusing myself by falling offt quite a lot.
I will be doing my annual trip for a play on the IOM before the TT happens.

So lots of two wheeled adventures in the day and lots of taunting Beaker in the evenings.

Life looks rosy.

DA, you've been away too long. You don't realise that every thread goes off topic just because of the expectation of Beakers viewpoint!!!

ps. I'm off to Ponderosa tomorrow, but as the salt has gone down around here, I will be on the XT.

I put new batteries n the gas fire this afternoon but it still isn't working.

I suspect the gas valve has jammed.

Fortunately it is still under warranty, engineer coming out on Tuesday. Which is the day after I play golf.

ordered two new tyres .. Fiddled about a bit with the gopro mount, general check over..
Then disconnected the battery as it will not move for nearly three months
Gonna be limited to the 125 scoot.. But that will get the miles piled up on it.. gotta make the most of all that sun !
