Sky renewal

i am sure most are aware that service providers who have a reduced 'introductory price' must now advise users when the introductory price ends.

Amazingly I today received my 'warning your cut price deal is due to end soon' email from Sky today...offering to renew at the same price for an 18 month contract.

Perhaps they are finally listening to their customers and not treating loyalty like crap?

All they need to do now is stop subsidising the ridiculous wages paid to footballers and other sportspeople....

Last couple of seasons Leeds matches were shown on sky more than most premier clubs yet Leeds received less money for all their games than any of the premier clubs received for one game.

I did complain about that - Leeds were on far too often.

Is ballfooting compulsory as my Sky subscription is due soon & if so, it's a good reason to leave & not renew?

Our household services are either in my name solely or Mrs Johnboy solely, that way when renewals come along we can legitimately become "new customers", most of the time the companies see sense and renew at the better price.

You would have to dump Sky Sports in its entirety.

Have never had Sky Sports, it doesn't show anything that interests me. just have the basic package (with HD included) at the moment, so not much more I can strip out & still paying £27 PM.

As an aside, I have just been into the Sky app and looked at the 'VIP' bit - much to my surprise I can download a free movie up to £14.99 and there are loads of free cricket tickets that I can most certainly make use of.

Plenty other bits and pieces, sports events, music events, tv show audience things.....worth having a look to see if there is anything that floats your boat.

If you aren't in the VIP club thing call them and they will put you in, especially at renewal time!

Unfortunately Mrs B is aware of the free movie .....I fully expect ours to be Mary Poppins....
