For those with a fear of heights might I suggest you do not watch Guy Martin's D-Day Landing....I could barely watch the stuff The Paras do on scaffolding 80' up in the air.

When I was about 14 my brother, lived in Formby then, brought me to a show of some kind. They had a parachute training scaffold.
The soldier had to push me off but I went up again. When I asked him to push me he said not to came back.

It was good though.
A nun here, over 80, did a jump for charity.

Big respect for those that have done 'the tower'......not quite as scary as what the paras, and indeed the crazy Mr Martin did.

Not even close!!

I have a recurring dream/nightmare where all my bikes are stolen.
It starts off with just bits missing and then a whole bike goes.

The bit that I don't like is just after take off and they throttle back it feels like the engines have stalled to me.

Once had a freighter skipper say "what do hate they hate most, the engine noise or the noise of me settling on their roof 'cause I don't have climb performance"
