Facebook and other social media

facebook have stated that they had to remove c1.5m copies of the video made by the attacker during the New Zealand mosque atrocity.

I would be more Impressed if they had said they had closed 1.5m accounts as a result of users distributing the video.

I don't know if anyone saw the fly on the wall cop show last night where a man was witch hunted and accused of being a paedophile? Having stirred up a rabble the ring leaders decided they would live stream him being hounded and abused in the streets. Plod made it pretty clear that he had nothing to answer for when they investigated the case.

It is like the Wild West and needs to be controlled.

Several years ago we had a prisoner who set fire to a house killing the occupant who he had read about on social media, problem was our lad didn’t know the difference between a paedophile & a paediatrician.

Sorry, checked with the wife (who works at the same hospital that the paediatrician did at the time) and no one was killed at the Paulsgrove incident, but a paediatrician from the hospital was attacked at her home, her car was burnt and she was forced to move out, after some self styled local "vigilantes" forgot to check the dictionary. Paediatric staff cop for this level of mindless ignorance whenever the press push a big paedo story.

I truly believe that the reporters that peddle the fake and unsubstantiated shit, should be held responsible, and I DONT mean a half inch apology on page 16 either.
