Huge fire is ripping through the cathedral. They are saying the whole of the roof has gone. It seems it was started accidentally, hope they are right.

Watched the spire topple..
Went though the whole war with out a scratch..Really sad
I have a suspicion it may be found to be linked in some way to that scaffolding

I think it is very sad it was a lovely building with a lot of history that can never be really replaced. I hope it was an accident and not a deliberate act but how they will ever find the cause I don't know
