Really easy.. various methods employed, the most popular with a ram mount in the centre stem nut

I have several gps units.
I much prefer garmin.. but lots of people are now using a smart fone and waterproof case
Look in the App Store, there are loads of options

Are those things universal, John (I mean do they come in a one-size-fits-all)? I want one for my baby Panzer that will also fit on my, ahem, next 'Bird. What do I type in the Amazon search engine?

An old car Satnav works fine, you just need a case to keep the water out (got mine from Fleabay) and it'll need wiring up, as most car satnavs won't give you more than a couple of hours on battery.

I totally agree.

The budget version is to put a clear sandwich bag over it with a bit of tape round the arm.

Or stick it in the map holder of a tank bag.

Andy beat me to it... ( out on the lash yesterday, did not get back until gone 1 last night ).. Ram mounts do all sorts.
You just ring them up, ask to speak to the ram man ( really ! ) and tell him what bike you want it to fit

:risas3: Last time I tried that it blew up and wrapped its self around my lid.

that's what a pillion with a map and stick is for. the pillion reads the map and then pokes you with the stick to indicate which way to go sorted :meparto:
