I win.

Well, I will do when the lazy gits stop standing around and finish building it.

Like a fart, in other words.
Quite a big one......
And one of my biggest regrets in life is not witnessing one of these lift off. I did see a satellite launch when I was in Florida and that was unbelievable, can't imagine what witnessing a Saturn V launch would have been like...

Just build yourself a pulsejet engine Andy, much more exciting standing a couple of foot away from even a small one of those than a few miles from any of those you have posted ..........

Be sure to post pictures & video's of the ensuing carnage though :D

Darwin Awards....
They found wreckage at a cliff face somewhere. Couldn't at all figure what it was as parts didn't add up.

Eventually found out - it was a gut who strapped a jet engine to top of car but lost control and it took off, apparently.

I understand they were quite 'exciting' when the engine cut out a few thousand feet overhead.

Remarkable technology for the time.

Few are aware that the Japanese had a manned suicide version - the Ohka - albeit there's was rocket powered and was launched by being dropped from an aircraft. Did a lot of damage to US ships.
