Cool!!
No hugger?????

Nope..... Realistically, as it is a 'Sunday best' bike I do not need to hide the wheel away.. It will make it easier to clean too

I have a pair of them.. one for each side but I am only using the right hand one
They were made for a member on here about 16 years ago.. Been passed around a few times and I ended up with them

They were made at a dairy machine manufacturers out of bits and bobs of 50mm stainless tube and a couple of elbows !

Is that Lino or a resin floor that the oil is dripping on?

That's not oil, it's Harry Monk. I'd be that excited too. I wonder if I could turn mine into something interesting that I'd want to keep.....................

Trouble is when you're as retarded, incompetent and inept as I am, you have to pay someone to do everything for you and that would cost a fortune. I can just about put fuel in, but only with adult supervision.

Hactchoo aly....
Any one can do what I did .. If you are somewhat short of mechanical aptitude find a mate to help.. It is amazing how many blokes want a project but for one reason or another cannot have anything of their own.
Working on project bikes is not work... it is a labour of love :)

Not what you were whispering in my ear last night.

Trust me John, when you're as thick and useless as me it's not a labour of love. It's a lesson in controlled violence!

Pretty sure I know exactly what it is but I am not prepared to say just from a recording.. It is almost impossible to diagnose a noise that way.. But if I am right there is little to worry about other than it is annoying until fixed

Oh, do tell.

Other that what I posted in the correct place in the relevant thread, the following also occurred to me;

- big end bearing
-oil pickup in sump misaligned and being hit by something spinning
- badger in the junction box

But I still think what I posted in the correct place on the correct thread is more likely
