Without wanting to incriminate myself in any way. Based on experience, you should be fine with minor exhaust modifications ... ;-0))

There are only four fixed speed cameras in Northern Ireland and we won't be close to any of them. If you're interested, although it may not mean very much, have a look at this - http://www.nidirect.gov.uk/safety-camera-locations

For those of you coming into Dublin Port, the Tunnel out of the Port is 80kmh.... regular plod patrols, as is the M1 up until Dublin Airport, from there until the Border with our Northern Brethren, 120kmh... no cameras but the occasional mobile van. North of the border it reverts to good old miles-per-hour, 70's the limit...again no cameras but the PSNI have very, very occasional speed checks, mainly coming up to A1/M1 junction, Hillsborough-Sprucefield area. Then it's onto the M1 for Belfast and out of my sphere of knowledge I'm afraid. Good luck and pleasant riding to you all. With a bit of luck I might get to meet up with a few of you when you're passing through.

No idea what time we'll get there either. It could be poor navigation or we might stop off en-route. In fact anything could happen :-0)

Gents I am working in Dublin - so I might be able get away early that day and ride some of the way up the M1 with you (as far as Drogheda anyway)@tu*

Just for info - there is a motorway services on the M1 about 20 Kms north of the city at Lusk if anyone needs a stop, there is also one south of Dundalk on the M1 at Castlebellingham.

And just so you know, there is a toll on the motorway just before Drogheda (between junction 7 and 8 northbound) I think its around ?1 euro for a bike.
