I've posted the whole description she put on facebook, please be aware. It really shook her up.
WARNING: I have just been the subject of a very cruel scam. I got a text from what I thought was my son, saying he was in big trouble, he had been in an accident and his friend had gone through the windscreen and was in ICU in a really bad way. Said the reason he was not on his phone was because it had been smashed in the accident. He then said could I find a 3 store and get a top up as the phone he was using needed to be topped up so that he could contact his mates family. As you can imagine I went into a panic, I then got another text saying please mum hurrie up, my mate is I. A really bad way. I found the 3 mobile phone shop and sent the voucher code. I then started to read the text and spelling mistakes and thought this doesn't sound like Matt so decided to try his number, and my bright sunny son answered the phone as he normally does, the relief made me burst into tears in the middle of the Harpur centre. I went back to the 3 shop and the lad was so lovely, he contacted head office, got the voucher cancelled and even refunded me. I wasn't worried about the money I just didn't want them to profit from their evil. It came through on a text service "hang out" I would advise anyone that has that app to delete it. It fair shook me up. I had visions of my son being arrested for dangerous driving and ending up in prison.
