So what is it worth to not mention that the BLACKbird that was two from the back leaving Fyvie, but arrived first at Aviemore, sort of first at Pitlochry(only a fuel stop allowing slower colours past and that we did a whole extra 25 miles around a loch before Pitlochry), and more amazing was we were first back, even though we got well and truly lost between Alford and Fyvie on the way home, causing no end of stops to reread the map, and a 20+mile ride going the wrong way altogether.
Maybe it's just you slow red riders eh
:wank:

Answer You cant keep up on a group rideout 2 years running go figure.

All of the above = P.P.P.P.P.P.P.P. Piss Poor Prior Preperation Promotes Piss Poor Performance.

Apologies to all McBashers for the lack of sweeties this year. Himself's still off work, so it makes spending on sweeties a little difficult. Hope you managed without.......

Kenny OMG I have a MASSIVE Dale Farm eviction update for you!! 1) Google it for today's general update <I tend to read the Daily Mail's view because I like their exaggerated danger-filled approach>,but 2) some of them have moved to the site where Luke works! He is within touching distance of them right now!! AAAAAARGH! :k

Russ & Janice again thanks for a stunning McBash.:bow:

I'll be paypal'ing my 2012 money over this year, Hotel for 2 please...
and Trig for hotel also. @tu*

Average speed for journey home just under 70mph. 553 miles.

Great to meet a few new faces, John Bell, McMuckles, Goulash (John) Marc's friend. :-0) Mark McMuckles hope the hand gets better soon.

I can confirm Jen has tiny ears but makes up for them elsewhere ;-0)). Luke... cleaning his bike... 8rfl@ under instruction.... Still Luke, with less dirt on the black one it'll perhaps keep up with the red and blue ones.. Use the power of the cleaning wand Luke.

Alex and Sandy good to meet the twins again.

Scotland, thanks for the sunny weather and great biking roads.

Kenny, Brenda & Fozzy, great to see you guys again.

Hugh.... keep up, keep up... hell man even Luke managed that on a Black one.

Gina's hanging on to the $$$$, she thinks....

See you all in 2012, and for those that didn't make it.... Losers.

Back in the world of the living

Thanks Russ and Janice for putting up with another non-Blackbird yet again ?

John and I got back late this afternoon, 1500+ miles taking in the McBash along with doing the West coast and Skye.

Kenny I wish you would have told me not to do the Applecross Pass in anything but perfect weather.
We didn't, we had 70ft visability, rivers running across every piece of tarmac, driven rain with the storm force gails. I've never been so scared on a bike. I met a van coming down just after a bend with no passing place, slipped it into 2nd and found myself going backwards with the howling wind .

Brilliant week yet again, if you didn't go, you missed a cracker @tu*

How happy does John look in this photo ? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v47/marcusfordus/McBash%20plus/P1000696.jpg

My favorite arty shot http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v47/marcusfordus/McBash plus/P1000708.jpg

FYI the GS did 68mpg average over the week. John put £19 in once whilst I put £10.20 for the same journey over Glencoe.
