Well attended my first McBash and it was great to put faces to names from the forum.

Thanks to Russ for his organisational skills which included the weather@tu*

Had a good time, although getting back on the bike for the first time since coming off proved to be a bit of an endurance test, probably too much to soon for my hand injury.

Highlights

The massive grins on the faces of those that were on the roads of Scotland for the first time.

Princess Higgin's smiley face when ever she saw a sheep, cow, bird, mountain, waterfall, grass, purple heather all the things you don't get in Essex

Av8tor doing precise micro movements of a a finely engineered top fairing bracket with a very large crowbar:bow:

Ian Robbos grin when he realised the the fine tuning above would allow him to ride his bike on Sunday and enter the streetfighter prize category@tu*

Glad you got home ok m8, we were all concerned when we got to Pitlochry and also when we got home so hope the ride home wasn't too bad.

Thanks for the haversack for the Raffle, Chris won it and we made over ?150 !

Good to see ya and glad you made the ride over, hopefully next year you can enjoy it more !!

Here's to 2012 !!

Come on you Hatters
Russ & Janice What a weekend, what a McBASH & what weather

Can only add our thanks to Russ and Jan for a fantastic weekend, only made better by having my new Bride with me, and even though she didn't enjoy the travelling too and from, she had a great time once there.

It was great fun to meet some new faces, & the old ones.

Agreed@tu*

So what is it worth to not mention that the BLACKbird that was two from the back leaving Fyvie, but arrived first at Aviemore, sort of first at Pitlochry(only a fuel stop allowing slower colours past and that we did a whole extra 25 miles around a loch before Pitlochry), and more amazing was we were first back, even though we got well and truly lost between Alford and Fyvie on the way home, causing no end of stops to reread the map, and a 20+mile ride going the wrong way altogether.
Maybe it's just you slow red riders eh
:wank:

What a rideout on Saturday shall we just say it was sporty.

Obviously in a slow red kind of sporty way (see above)8rfl@

Hugh & Jules great wee run out after Alford hope you both enjoyed it ? we did

Yep, nice one Kenny, bit slow in places though......h1d1ng2

Hey Y'all

Due to shite weather we decided to plough on all the way home yesterday (got in about 9pm) so woke up in our native Essexland this morning..... I am sulking due to having mountain/sheep/hay/heather withdrawl symptoms and Luke is....CLEANING HIS BIKE?!! OMG what an influence you lot are!!!!! fl4g71

Russ (and Jan, althought she claimed she had nothing to do with it) - BIG LOVE XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Brilliantly organised @tu* thank you for all the effort you must have put into sorting everything out. Our first North-of-the-border experience was absolutely fabulous.

It was an honour to bring up the rear of so many lovely new people and meet the faces behind the names and we look forward to seeing yous all again soon :k

Glad you guys enjoyed it and glad you all got home safely, I feel like someones mum waiting to hear everyone got home in one piece, must be an age thing !!

It was also nice to see some new faces this year, some newer than others !

But its good to know you thought that long journey was worth it. It certainly helps to hear when guys make the effort to get here that you enjoyed it.

So, 2012 is now in my Diary anyway !!

:-0)

Oh and that comment you made to the Magician about 'once you go Black you never go back' was the quote of the weekend !!

It was the look on everyones face when Jen said that cracked me up !

Absolute Classsic !!!
