Yup I am feeling vindictive and vengeful.....

The other day I ordered a playstation game for Derek over the net. Second hand from a shop called computoz.net.

On their website plain as day, clicked the order button all done, paid for via online, acknowledged too.

Then today I get an email to say they don't have it anymore

Well pissed. So here is the dialogue between me and them, I haven't replied to his last email yet.............anyone care to help me??????????

Tell him that tesco etc don't advertised their stock, therefore they are not misleading if they run out.


this reads as a Scam to me, get you order and then tell you that you can have the game at full price!!

post on his feedback on the ebay page and let everybody else see what he is like.

didn't explain well enough. This is not an ebayer. This is a shop on the internet!!!!!!!!!! A proper shop.

I missed the ones on ebay as I thought it would be better to order from a proper business which computoz.net is.

You could complain to the Credit Card Company too (assuming you used a c/c for the purchase).

I think they have to commit to a certain code of conduct to be issued a terminal, don't they...??. If the c/c company thought he was misusing it they might threaten to, or actually, take it away.

An internet based company without a credit card terminal is gonna struggle a bit methinks!

Ask for your refund first... and if he avoids you or delays - that would make your case with c/c company even more compelling!

I think the chap has been reasonable,, told you he hadn't got it so order cancalled & re-funded (I hope),, Stocks like this change daily & he prolly updates his site daily anyway,, is it still for sale? He could have said there has been a delay so you won't get it for two weeks then said he hadn't got it.

Valid point about the Tesco's,, Oh & they do advertise there stock on line,, called on line shopping,, if Tescos are out of stock they just use a substitute item which really pisses me off,, means you got to take time to take it back to store if you don't want it,, hence I don't use Tescos on line anymore.
