I know its not a lot, but 270 miles since yesterday afternoon...
Went up to meet the Matlock Mafia yesterday... we had booked a b&b at a pub just down the road (managed to break the bed - but thats another tale - Asleep at the time - so dont know how)...
Great to see all the regulars... Laughed ourselves silly at the 25stone hells angel on a 125 with "L" plates... And as for the Germans... They have escaped from the World cup I reckon...
Left the pub after a great "full english" and headed off for a coffee at Matlock motocycles (which is still being refurbished-yeah, right.....) The over to Buxton via the twisties with a lot of smiles:yo:
After a coffeee & cake at Buxton we headed off twards Macclesfield, pealing off before the cat n fiddle to head down to Congleton (a much superior route imho) then down to Leek, and into Stoke to see Nealy & Denise (who it turns out, tied the knot themselves last week:bow
After more drinks, and Denises wonderful coffee cake, we headed back to grubby old Kidderminster for an Indian for tea...
Absolutely loved being back on the bike... Arm is swollen now, and hurting rather a lot, so I shall have a couple of painkillers and some "falling down water" which should sort that out with a bit of luck...
Weather dont get much better for biking than this weekend...
great to see you all at the pub.
Rhino, Murt, Duck n Dive, Rich, Wotnot & wife, Hornblower and mysterious friend, and the well patient (and head belting) Jan...
Glad to be back on the bike.....
Cheers all,
Rolfy.
