Not a chance Paul, no matter how long he serves he won't be doing any of it at Wakefield.

It came as a complete shock when we first found out about him as he comes across as a really nice guy [paedophiles are very good at manipulation & masking their true characters] one of the women I work with grew up with him & she is devastated as she was convinced of his innocence right up to him pleading guilty,
I worked with his father for many years thankfully he has now retired so does not have to face the embarassment.

It must have been a shock for you Derek. We never suspect our own, as it were.

Not in the same league but about 12 years ago a guy was finished from our place for pinching diesel. An older, very nice, family man who you would have bet a months wages on as being totally honest.

Bev's Uncle used to work at Kirkstall forge, he was at Bev's mams house one day when they named the yorkshire ripper on the news, Vince [bev's uncle] said "That's a coincidence one of the drivers that delivers to us is called Peter Sutcliffe it can't be him though as he's a really nice man"
it was him.
