Nail on head.........

The local company which requires an admin person who can speak polish is the meat factory........ who use a lot of polish workers who are recruted in poland and for whom they also help with accomadation!!!!!

So why is it so worth while for the company to do this?.......

Minimum wage syndrome, No locals want to do it at the rate......
Well actually...... the locals used to do but all got laid off during the foot & mouth thingy.

The factory was rebuilt during that downturn into a modern all singing all dancing facility and when re-opened... yep you're right.... the wages were much less........

I think there's money involved in employing foreign types too

Our local nursing homes are employing Poles, Phillipinas etc
Think you can get grants?
Students learning English?
