Think that I vented spleen about 4 weeks ago about picking up
a puncture in my back tyre...Well its only happened again yesterday.
Another nice shiny philips screw embedded in the tread about an inch from the side wall.
Must be 10 years or more since I last had a puncture,and now 2 in the space of four weeks.
This isnt funny anymore...And why is it always a screw and not a nail...Looks like a new back tyre
is due...

Hhmmmmm.. Did it happen in the same area ?
Some time ago we had an idiot 'seeding' a road with screws ..
He got severely nicked when he upped the game with diesel.. Turned out he did not like bikers and was trying to stop them visiting the local ( large ) town.. Twonk!

You Know John this is exactly what has been going through my mind.
I have to admit that I have my own personal test route,,,about 60 odd miles
that i use about 2 or 3 times a week.Cracking B roads in the direction of Uttoxeter and
then Ashbourne.Its for blowing away the cobwebs so to speak.
My bike runs standaed cans so isnt particularly noisy in my opinion,but there was a old guy outside of
a cottage who seemed to be giving me daggers a week or two back as I went past.
Could he be fed up to the back teeth with bikers hooning past his house and has thrown a handfull
of shrapnel across the road....May be I being paranoid..
