For those who might be interested, this map is live data of all active weather balloons which are launched at midnight and twelve noon daily
An active balloon is shown as a balloon and if you zoom in you will track it in real time
Click on it and you get to see all its info including the frequency it is transmitting data on
If you have a receiver you can get an interface and ab it all live your self

Does it work for Chinese weather balloons, asking for a friendly country ......

I am hoping for one to come near me. If you find one they do not want them back
They have a couple of lithium cells in them and are actually reprogramable if you have the right kit

Just discovered there is also a site which tracks non pro balloons
Apparently anyone can let one go !
