Phone call from eldest daughter this morning, sadly she had to have one of her dogs put to sleep, RIP Jack.
Ten years ago Sarah found out about a dog that was requiring a home, she went to the rescue centre & was told of Jack’s horrific start to life, a woman was walking across a field when she saw a group of kids kicking a carrier bag, as she got nearer they ran off, the woman noticed that the bag moved slightly, when she looked she was horrified to find a young puppy (about ten weeks old) she took him to the vet where he underwent several operations, the kicking had actually forced his penis back inside his body & caused damage to several organs, despite the odds he pulled through & amazingly became one of the most friendly, loving, trusting dogs you could ever meet, he was brilliant with Sarah’s staffie Amy & her cat Mia.
Big hole in our lives now.
