Bev was due her eye injections on March 2nd, knowing how crap Royal Hallamshire are at booking appointments I told her to ring up & confirm a few weeks before, (the effects of her last injection wore off on 19th Feb)
She doesn’t like making a nuisance of herself so wouldn’t ring, constant badgering from me wore her down & she eventually rang, “oh, why didn’t you ring sooner? You’ve been overlooked” appointment made for Wednesday 6th April, Bev queried “normally botox clinic is on Thursday” “nope, definitely Wednesday 6th April, 9am.
Had Grandkids sleeping last night so got them up fed, dressed & took them to eldest daughter to take them to School, got to Hallamshire at 08.40, checked in & sat down, 09.15 I said to Bev, “they’ve forgotten about you, normally you’re straight in & out”
I went to the desk, gave all details again, “do you know which Doctor she’s seeing?” “Yes, Dr Tann” “oh, she’s not in till tomorrow, looked on the computer, her appointment is tomorrow at 9am”
I managed to register my displeasure without being abusive, the admin supervisor (no Po-Low, she didn’t) then came to us & gave us her direct number so we can make sure of no more cock ups.
