This is kinda inspired by the thread for Wiz keeping his cool. I wanna thank Jaws fer "popping round" mine today and checking out the bird in the rain. Looks like she hasnt suffered at all, left exhaust hanger looks like its bent inwards a tad but that can be rectified at a later date but the frame, sub frame, forks and bars have all checked out straight. Thats a load off my mind, thats fer sure.

Its that kinda help that makes places like this work, lets keep up the good work and make this place the best there is!



BTW, anyone notice we got a mention in the Ride 2002 survay?? Just a brief mention but we was there!

Would "Mushrooms" have save any damage?

Wondering if I should invest in a set

Dare say I will be corrected when Jaws comes in but I dont think 'shrooms would have helped. Unless they lift it up and off the altenator cover and they are big enough to stop Ford Focus's

Nope, no correction there mate..
No crash bung ever made would have stopped the damage to the nose cone, and the alt cover looks like it impacted on something sticking up, so once again Shrooms would not have helped at all...
However, they would most likely have saved the minor damage to the side panel ( minor or not it has still gotta be sorted, so there is every chance the shrooms would have earned their keep there! ) and also we know from a good few reports that they often save 'can' damage on the left hand side as the bike is held up just enough to slide on the centre stand and the shroom..

A while back, Jaws stopped growing magic mushrooms in his garden shed and started making them out of plastic instead. I'm sure therefore he has just the jobbie for you...

Yup, as one of the two bigish manufacturers on Shrooms ( possibly in the world :} ) I can indeed supply your needs (though after a guy in Thetford got busted a couple of years ago for a rather huge crop of a certain substance, I am limiting my produce to the plastic kind ! )
They are made of machine grade acetyl, and are supplied with stainless steel fitting bolts.. Cost per pair in the UK is 18 quid including shipping

Do they come colour matched.... well that depends if your bike is the same colour as the black plastic used.. If it is, then yes ! If it aint, then no :blush:
In the early days I did experiment with colours, but there is no chance of getting them dead right, so I figured it would be better to do them all plain black.....
