VEE TWINS

Had a vee twin didn't work for Jenny but couldn't get my mates missus of the back. We now have two 4cylinder machines either of which I have a job to get out the drive before Jenny is on the pillion.
Must be something to do with the speed of the vibrations I guess.
She's alwaaays been a bit of a fast cat!!! :} :}

Is the Trophy not 3 cyclinder then?

:dunno: I thought with the exception of the 600, all Triumphs were 3 cyclinder-shows what I know :h

Three Pots

Joeboy I hate to be the one to burst your bubble but the simple fact is that Triumph have from inception made the Trophy in a 4 cylinder version they dropped the 900cc three cylinder in 2000 now only producing the Trophy as a 4 cyl 1200cc model. Unfortunatley if rumours are to be believed sadly to be dropped from the range this year.

As a point of interest when Triumph launched this engine it was the first to break the voluntary 125 bhp imposed limit, coming in at 140bhp the early Trophies were fitted with this engine 92 - 96 I believe sadly it now only produces 108bhp but does have more torque.

Whilst it is not as focused as the blackbird believe me for a touring motorcycle it is pretty sporting in the twisties and no slouch from the traffic lights either lol!! I did receive some comments from the service manager at my dealers last year when we came back from France with regard to the lack of chicken strips on my tyres lol. By the way didn't you have a 955i in a former life?
