It's prediction time again?

<o></o>All you SOSBers get in early?. (Have a great time all BTW) :yo:<o></o>

<o></o>So, will the Hondas fight back? Is it going to be a Ducati track? Will Capirossi finally start showing his true form now his missus has produced? <o></o>

<o></o>Or will Mr. Charisma, Valentina, thrill us all with another rib tickling victory celebration? How could he top the last one though??? :dunno:<o></o>

<o></o>This is the first track they haven?t tested on previously so maybe the new tyre rules could upset a few? <o></o>

<o></o>But?..lets have a good one fellas please?<o></o>

<o></o>Bit more like 2006, y?know? :yo:

Weather for İstanbul, Matthewsland

15?C Clear Wind: S at 13 km/h Humidity: 45%

Sat: 14?C | 12?C Sun: 13?C | 10?C

Well...If Stoner stays on it looks like he could get another win ? and Loris has started to look a bit like his old self again, too. Once again we?ve got Rossi on a comparatively slow bike ? down 5mph to the Ducatis ? but he?s also up against the (as usual) fully-committed Hopkins while Elias seems to be back to his "bumper car" antics before the serious stuff?s even begun! :p

Rossi
Elias
Hopkins

I?d love to see Hopper get a podium ? if anyone deserves it, he does. :yo: Elias just lu-rrrrrrves Istanbul and Rossi?s just a God...

(So...Only sss-slight-ly tinted specs. today, then!) :neenaw:

Back to you, Bernard! :k

Rossi

Stoner

Pedrosa

What is the point in qualifying tyres now?

With the new tyre regs they have to work on finding a race set up, so to then to chuck on a totally different set of tyres, surely that cocks up the settings and gives a totally false grid?

Sorry Da....

Tina is a big girls blouse....

:k

Roll on Assen - must be ticket delivery day soon?

Pedrosa was half second up if he hadnt got blocked .. :tosser:
qualifying tyres are a bit of a last resort now to get on the front row, as race set up is top priority..
Stoner and elias are never good qualifyers but they will be there for the race,
Melandri got a chance as Kuciar says and I still think Tina will get a podium..
just.. his boyfriend said so h1d1ng2

Taped qualifying but didn?t see it till I got home this evening.

Rossi looks as if he has to work hard now in qualifying ? like he has to use every ounce of experience (not necessarily a ?bad thing?) to achieve the results that he needs...But he?s still so fast that he looks slow ? an aspect of his prowess that was evident during qualifying at Valencia ?06, but which was so obviously absent under race conditions, back then.

I wrote, recently, that I think MotoGP is nothing like Formula One ? but I think now that I was wrong to do so. MotoGP hs become as cerebral as F1, in tactical terms, while performance dependency upon the talents of the ?Pilote? remains aloof from electronical interference, as so ably demonstrated by a certain Mr. Elias (and wasn?t it interesting to see Rossi copying Elias?s ?backing it in? style through some of the corners during the early stages of qualifying?).

Pedrosa would have had a Pole position if he hadn?t been (unknowingly) blocked by Hopper. Rossi, Stoner and Capirossi might well lap more quickly tomorrow: but I?ve got a sneaking feeling that Rossi slipped in a qualifying tyre early in the proceedings to lure his opponents into revealing their race-day potentials.

Some might say that there?s no point to qualifying tyres these days ? but if you use them intelligently, they can give you a hell of a psychological advantage ? at least, temporarily! Rossi may not be a GOD...But...He?s still faster than the rest...Even on a slower bike...! Anyway; I don?t care any more: there?s nothing better than MotoGP for me at the moment...

...Well... :dunno:

...Nearly nothing... :p

ROLL ON, TER-MORRER...!

(Me 'n' Rossi...? We're just good friends..! :} )

...Come on... :yo:

...COME ON, VALE...!

10th who would believe it. Ducati 1st, 3rd, 4th, amazing
..."Unbelievable" just about sums it up - and the expected silence from the Yamaha/Michelin camp deepens...!

Bridgestone have certainly unleashed an Eagle amongst the pidgeons with this result and, while we Rossi fans are scraching our heads, I guess Stoner and Capi are huddled in a corner somewhere - sloshin' Champers and giggling at the thought that the Ducati bandwagon has turned into a seemingly unstoppable victory machine that is capable of crushing all resistance! bl4hbl4h

The intrigue of MotoGP continues with a vengeance as we progress into another season of the unknown, the unpredictable and the unexpected. While the performance of the Bridgestone-borne Ducatis was, perhaps, an acknowledged variable in the race equation, the problems encountered by virtually all the Michelin runners came as a stunning surprise - not least of all to the Fiat Yamaha team.

There really is a lot to do now, where Valentino is concerned, and the emergence of Bridgesone as a genuine fighting force is as good for MotoGP in general as it is "bad" for for Rossi in particular. %$fan

Another challenge for the Maestro, then: p0pc0rn41

...Crap bike - now running on (seemingly) crap tyres: "Here we go again...!" :p

...Another battle - but I'm still backing Valentino to win...! :yo:

...Come on...

...Come on, Vale..!

...As suspected, a rear tyre problem... :dunno:

"(Rossi)...after ten or eleven laps, the tyre started to lose all grip and I had to slow right down because I was quite scared. It felt like there was a big problem with the tyre and I had to go very carefully just to finish."

Even so, I'm not convinced that the Yamaha could have stayed with the Dukes, even with Rossi on board...

Even I had to laugh, though, when Rossi labeled Elias as "dangerous..." (I reckon Gibernau and Hopper might have a word or two to add about one or two of Rossi's overtake-escapades!):p

...With all the fairing-bashing, crashing, passing and multiple dramas - especially when Barros decided not to nick third place off Capirossi (which, I reckon, he could have done!) the MotoGP was by far the most exciting race of the day. :yo:

...Makes ya wonder what some folks are lookin' at, really... p0pc0rn41

You lost them glasses mate? :dunno:

A fair and non biased post?

You not well? :dunno:

Have to agree with you about the race too, I really enjoyed it. In fact I didn't want it to end (nothing to do with Tina having found reverse gear either).

Thought the battle for third was excellent, so wanted Hopkins to get on the podium.

Ride of the weekend? How about Bradley Smith.... the way he caught the leading pack on an underpowered Honda.... maybe, just maybe....

Now, do you want the video or not?
