Open invitation for anyone wishing to join me, and a few others in a ride setting off from Haydock Shell garage M6 Jn 23 , at 9.30 am , heading for Settle / Hawes / Devils / stopping on the way back at a little pub in the trough of Bowland, into Blackburn and a final stop at the rocket centre to have a look at the new bikes, heading back over Rivi , or whichever way you normally go for home. Weather permitting of course , but I'll post here about 8.30 Sun morning just to confirm its still on or been rained / froze off. All bikes welcome, easy pace suit new and experienced riders alike

Look out for "The Fog!" :eek:

We live at Rivi (Belmont Village) and it was pretty much the only clear place - checking out our surroundings from Scout Road we were an island in a sea of cloud (how ro-man-tic!... :p not!).

Frost didn't clear properly until 10.30-ish and watch out for any icy bits!

If you're setting off from Blackburn might join you if I'm sober!

Lemme know ifya wanna meet up anywheres before Haydock! :-:

Its still on for now , its been foggy here all day today , but the others are convinced it will be OK tomorrow when we get past Preston , so see you at Haydock Shell in the morning by 9.30 , I'll still post here about 8-45 to let you know i am or am not going

If we could meet up at the Tickle Trout (M6, Jn 21) that would be easier. Should take you 20-30 minutes from Haydock and it's directly on your route, so may I suggest 10-ish? I'll check for your post later. It's a frosty, clear morning here on the moors!

made it back safe and sound, bit cold but glorious sunshine, not bad for early Feb, thanks to Dark Angel for turning up , hope you enjoyed the run , may see you next timeWould have posted a few pics but I've exceeded my allowance
