Good Luck

Who are you taking the ADI with and are you planning to use it. Must admit that if I were good enough it is something that would appeal to me. I am due to take the IAM test this year sometime but of course have to make the first move of joining the local group. Wife bought the membership for me for chrissie. let me know how you get on:beer:

Good luck with the test, its gotta be worth doing. I did my IAM car test about ten years ago which was great but had its odd moments. My first two drives were with a woman librarian, ugly as sin, and I'm no oil painting. Then I got told I was too experienced (yeah, yeah) for her and had a police instructor after that. I drive 30000 miles a year, she did about 2000, but I never touched her, honest officer!
Then my test came round and a police driver got in the car, wiped the mirror, said this cars a f~*^@"g disgrace (he was right, it was a Renault 21) and told me to get on with it. Not a word was said for an hour and at the end, he just said, "you've passed, look in your mirror more" and that was that.
Anyway have fun doing it!

Hi Richard,
Read your post, but am not sure if its for car or motorcycle. I tried the adi for the car and found parts 1 & 2 straight forward, the part 3 was like a lottery. Unfortunatly over here there is no one really qualified to train for part 3 of the car test.
My siter did both the car and motorcycle and passed both but still reckons the motorcycle one was the easiest one and really enjoyed it. She reckoned it was all in the attiude you took with the training, if you listened and put into practice what you were being taught then it was straight forward.
But anyway good luck tomorrow and remember we all live and learn!!!!!!
