Scottoiler FS365 Spray

My mate has been going on about this stuff for ages, how good it is. You just spray it on all over the bike when you've washed it, and then next time you wash it the dirt doesnt stick to the bike anywhere near as much. Thought it was all a bit too good to be true to be honest, but I gave it a go after he let me use his spray!

OMG!!!! It is FANTASTIC stuff!! Been out this evening and got caught in what could only be described as a monsoon! Bike was absolutely filthy when i got home. It was dark and still pinging down so I didnt really wanna get the bucket and sponge out so just gave it a blast with the hose.

Alright, it doesnt look showroom sparkly, but trust me, get some of this stuff, spray it all over, dont be shy, and you'll be pleasantly surprised next time you come to clean it.

Now, Jaws, are you gonna stock it and sell it cheap or what??!!?? :neenaw:

i think the acf50 which jaws stocks, although more expensive, and which takes longer to apply is more affective, as it doesn't come off in the rain.

Yep its good stuff, spray it on let it dry. Go out get the bike shit up, jetwash it off and then dry off with a microfibre cloth (one of the good ones John sells) and then let dry and repeat. Robert is your uncle !!!!

Works fine on the BM when I have been out round the peak this winter.

?5.99 from Pidcocks just up the road from me.

No mate.. I stock just about every product Scottoiler makes but that 365 is not gonna find its way on my stock list..

It does not stop corrosion at all cos it just washes off !!

I tried it and was very dissapointed ..

I had to reapply it time and time again ( remember I am used to using ACF-50, two applications sees me right through winter :p )

There is a good reason it is cheap.. its cos it is cheap stuff !
I would strongly advice you do not rely on it to protect your bike from salty road conditions unless you are gonna clean the bike after every ride and reapply the stuff.. ( but that sort of defeats the object surely ? )

Don't rate the Scottoiler stuff, so might try the acf50 on the DRZ, although I'm dubious about any company that states that there product will protect your investment? Since when has the average motorcycle been an investment? :} (note to self; must invest more funds in motorcycles!)

Jaws - I should have passed this on before - when I cleaned the bike after the Elephant Rally it came up spotless. I would recommend ACF 50 to anyone.

Could I have my money now please?

There's some fair comments there gents, thanks.

With the ACF50, do you spray it onto a cloth and then wipe it on all over the bike or what? When I've sprayed it on in the past, it comes out kinda gloopy, not like an aerosol like say WD40, this more like trickles out so it makes it hard to spray into the nooks and crannys if you get my drift.

Looks like I'll be spending a bit more money at Jaw's place this month on some micro fibre cloths then too!! brok3

Cheers

you can either get it in an aerosol spray format can, or in a litre bottle. after application from spray can i even it out with a paint brush to get it in the nooks and crannies - but i've used the litre bottles last time - more efficient i think.

I tried ACF for the first time this year only because John keeps banging on about it.
I was a bit sceptical at first but yes it is really good stuff I'll certainly be using it next year.
And yes john I'll order it from you.

I can also back up the ACF-50 v's FS-365 argument. FS-365 is OK, and would be total protection if it didn't come off so easily. FS-365 is much better for that reason - it stays put. I'm well impressed.
