Hi all,
I have just fitted steel braided lines and have a problem. Having removed the old lines I am now not sure which line goes to where on the rear caliper? Both the brake hose unions are very close to each other and the lines I have are long enough to go either way around?
The brakes are standard and have not been de-linked Is anyone able to tell me which union goes to where?
I have a feeling I have connected them them wrong way round as when I brake I sometimes get a judder from the front when applying the rear brake??
Sorry to be so dumb as I know this is pretty basic stuff , I should have taken a photo before removing and discarding the old lines....
Thanks
Col

The lines should not be the same length if you are still linked.

The SHORT line goes between the rear master and the REAR banjo on the caliper

The LONG line goes between the Pressure reduction valve ( PCV ) in the tail and the FRONT banjo on the caliper

It's always worth hitting the refresh button before you leave, Col. I noticed you were still on here after Deano had posted. :-0)
