Whenever I go to a bike meet I always look for owt that jumps out from the crowd.
Went to Devils Bridge (the Kirkby Lonsdale one) last Sunday. It was a rainy day so there was only three bikes there besides mine :- CBF1000 a Yam Tracer and this 1948 Harley. I asked the owner if he was off to a show or rally or summat, he said no he was just out for a ride for a bacon butty as he uses it as a daily ride.
It wasn't standard as he had fitted a more reliable modern clutch and had an external belt drive from the engine to the gear box

More bikes there this week (yesterday) and this one caught my eye, I have only seen one once before and that was a marshals bike at Olivers Mount when they first came out. The owner also had a couple of Kawasaki Turbos and a Yamaha in his stable

Sweet rides. Saw a Kawasaki KH500 yesterday in Cardiff, lovely sounding expansion chambers on it, had to roll the window down to get a whiff of two stroke.

Like the bottom one...

Yep was a great looking bike, was a bit disappointed with the sound of it though... a bit like an old super dream or regular CX500. Was half expecting it to hiss and pop like some of the Turbo cars you see:nusenuse:

Can't beat the sound and smell of the old two stroke eh, especially with the expansion chambers:thumbsup:

Have got a Blackbird and a Fazer thou neither are really worthy of showing as rare bikes. Mind you if there was a thread about the pinnacle of engineering or summat I might upload a photo of the Blackbird:D
