Just received a Scorpion end can for the Blade thru the post off ebay, I only paid about ?40 all in for it, and I know its my own fault for not asking the seller first, but I was expecting for some reason (hoping maybe after I had paid for it) that it would be road legal. c7u8

I'm not too sure I want to put a race can on my bike, I'm guessing it would probably invalidate the insurance which I'm not too keen on at all, and I know I'd have to swap it back for the MOT.

Question is, do many of you guys run race cans on your bikes? Have you ever been in bother with the fuzz? Would it need tweaking as well to adjust the fuelling? Cant really afford the ?300 or so for a power commander at the moment! brok3

Think a few folk on here run race cans, I have for the last couple o' years.

If he described it as a race can then I don't think there is any comeback on him - race cans are not for road use (in law!).

I've got in bother for this before (and I probably will again b0x1 ), but if you decide to fit a Power Commander, e-m me (I can get them at a pretty good discount).

Got race cans on my 05 Bird, had them on my 04 Bird, had them on my SP1, had them on my Storm.

Never had a problem with the nice police as long as I didnt wind it open in the little back streets etc !!

Sounds awesome on a twin

Sounds like a precision instrument on the Bird.

I've a single Remus race can on mine. It came with the bike, second hand.

Bernards in P'boro passed it last year but said it's "borderline" on noise emissions. :yo: No markings on it about road or race use.
