I will be leaving Keele services (M6 northbound, between jcts 15 and 16) at 9am next Monday morning. Should get there in plenty time to park up, get settled in, and get a brew before the first race . If anyone else would care to meet me at the services, that would be grand. R#?

I'd love to say yes, but PinkBird is about to be in bits, and so depends how good my 'putting back together' is and how many pieces are left over!!!!

Just got to check the front sprocket!! think its not quite right, and then might have to fit new chain and sprockets! :bang: Scary stuff!! For me, but I have been out and bought some tools that aren't chocolate!! (better for the figure and better for the mechanic stuff!!) h1d1ng2

Not that simple! Now the fairing is off, the noise I thought I could hear and didn't like is Definitely there :bang: so need to treat it with serious tlc til I find out what is wrong with it. Don't fancy giving as much stick as I usually do now I am sure there is something in the engine not happy! Just got to find a mechanic that can hear it too!!!! :bang: Prob very simple, but not worth the risk til its seen to - hopefully getting sorted tuesday (long as he can hear it!!) :cry: :cry:

Not CCT - know that noise anywhere having changed it twice (first time with a pretend chocolate one!!) - noise is far more central than the CCT (and much easier to hear now fairings are off!!! I'm about to put them back on to hide the noise again!!)

I'm pretty sure its something really simple, just not 100%, so no point riding too far til I'm sure! And the locals guys reckon there isn't anything wrong with it at all - quote - 'its done 42K and been crashed and rebuilt, of course there'll be noises!!!' Now I may be being harsh on them, but I know my bike and it didn't make those noises after being rebuilt, so why now? And why don't they believe me when I say there is something wrong?!!! s04pb0x6 OK, off my soapbox!!

Going to a mechanic friend on Tuesday, so hopefully be better by tuesday night!!! or more :cry: :cry: :cry:
