Like I said in a previous thread, BMs have a 12 year anti-corrosion warranty, which clearly makes it a warranty issue. Your boss should have got it fixed under warranty and then got rid.

I have to say, I'm deeply sceptical about ANY new car having corrosion issues at just one year old. I would even go as far as to say that in the majority of those cases, the cause can be attributed to the owner. As an example, one might scrape, say, a gate post and render a panel down to bare metal. Said driver doesn't bother to get it repaired and subsequently wonders why, after the first road salting of the winter, the panel starts dissolving.
Mine is now three years old and the bodywork is 'as new'.

No it’s not it’s ‘as three years old’. Oxidisation and considerable heat cycles have taken place along the stone chips and debris marks. This is (of course) providing you have used it ! The interior is probably quite tired due to it carrying boring people.

He did get it repaired but still got shot.
