Correction

live from the ATV studios in B'ham, possibly when they were still at Aston Cross (where Thank Your Lucky Stars and The Golden Shot came from!)

You know, the same place as Crossroads with the wobbly scenery was done ....

Right,

time to sort out a few things here.

1)
What about poor old Master Bates & Roger the Cabin Boy??

Nope, the cabin boy was, in fact called Tom and I dont think there was a Master Bates or Seaman Staines. All urban myths.

2)
Blakes 7 wow what was the kin space ship called

Twas called "The Liberator" Have you trid watching Blakes 7 now?? Nearly wet me self laffing soo hard at the dodgy acting, the wobbly sets, poor dialog, camp costumes.

Cant believe no one has mentioned Danger mouse yet!

Oh, one more thing..

Just goes to show how much all this special effects technology can't compete with a stuffed sock

Is that what you tell Mrs Amsterdam??

Kid's programmes

I used to fancy Valerie Singleton of Blue Peter fame something rotten when I was a kid. Had to emigrate to NZ nearly 28 years ago when I made the mistake of mentioning it to my mates!

Pugwash..........again

Bubba.....

Yes an urban myth I agree - but a good one.

This urban myth did get a kickstart though! Pugwash quite clearly called Master Mates 'Master Bates' in the last progs recorded in the series! :neenaw:

In reply to the second part of your post concerning Mrs Amsterdam.

I would say yes! - but only when the batteries are flat :f
