A mate has just phoned - another mate of mine has hit a car head on up the A5 in North Wales. I don't know any details of how it happened. All I know is that Alec has 2 very badly smashed legs, a shattered pelvis, a broken left arm, 4 busted ribs, possibly a punctured lung but no head or spine damage. At least the bugger got a lift in the Air Ambulance!

That's some very serious injuries, just hope the outlook is fairly good...

Having had a shattered pelvis,I know only too well how much pain he will be in for some time to come. He's going to need a fair bit of support from his friends.
