How very spooky !
It was only yesterday I was listenig to a debate on this very subject...
But sorry to say that once again the fookin comic ( in fact I do not think I would even rate it THAT high nowadays ) has jumped the gun.
Italian govt. is presently LOOKING at the pos. of rasing the speed limit..
Having said that they most likely will and as Italian drivers are not exactly the greatest in the world, the death rate will rise, and everyone will be able to point fingers and say 'see, speed kills!'

Yeah, ya probably right Jaws, but then again, you can contra that by quoting fatality

statistics on German autobahns.
Having said that, they'll never increase speed limits in this country and it wouldn't make any difference if they did, 'cos most are at a standstill at the best of times :B
