Just had notification the BMF will no longer put on a show at Peterborough..

BMF Events
Many of you have been asking about the 2015 BMF Events. Some have seen the announcement from the motorcycling press that there is a show at Peterborough the weekend that the BMF Show is usually held. I should point out that this is not a BMF Event.
Other organisations have been keen to have that "slot" at Peterborough for many years and the slot was booked for 2015 while we were in discussions with Event Organisers. It was felt in many corners, however, that the ridiculous six figure deposit that Peterborough was asking for, would not have sat well with our members, many of whom have expressed a wish to return to the smaller regional shows of the past. The BMF could not have justified risking that amount of Members money on one show. We all know that it rains that weekend, anyway!
Management Team is still in talks with Event Organisers.
There will be, with hard work and good karma, BMF 2015 Events. They may not be the same format as 2014, but again Members have expressed a wish to move away from that format. We are first and foremost a political, lobbying organisation, but our roots are with our clubs and our heart is with our members.
We want to show that we are grateful for your continued support and an event, of some kind, will happen.
