Hello all
Hi there,
And thank you for having such a cracking site. Finally managed to get my own computer and actually join up after reading so much about it.
My name is Paul or Knighty and I have owned a Blackbird for about 2 and half years. I got one after years of dreaming about them after I had had a go of a mates back in 1997 when the lucky sod got himself a brand new one. Since then i've cut me teeth on a VFR, gettting the balls to buy one of these beauties. I have a Titanium coloured (the slow one i've heard it called) 1998 model and he does not dissapoint. I've only just (literally yesterday) got off the ferry from Spain after having convinced the missus to get on the back and have a blast around there for 2 weeks. She loved it and the bike behaved impeccably even when fully loaded with 3 Kappa boxes, a tankbag and the "enemy" sat on the rear.
Thanks to John at Jaws, i've sorted out any niggly probs with the bike (running lean at about 80) and have raised the bars and extended the mirrors. If you are a tall bloater like me then you will understand this vital neccessity!!
Once again thanks for the site and I really hope to meet a lot of you on one of the club meets sometime.
Cheers
